 Using Tom’s grid:
 
 You must have the <89> in a (r6c8) to prevent the deadly pattern taking shape beneath in d.
 
 You can safely dispense with the remaining digits <234> in a and the puzzle is solved

				| Thanks for the puzzle Mogulmeister. I was finding some useful Swordfish patterns that helped me along on this one. Skyscrapers and various Wings could work as well, and a late UR (89) became visible.
