There are a few more basics that can be performed on Tom's grid. There are LC's 1s in box 3 (-1r1c16) and in box 9 (-1r9c6) and there's a hidden pair 89 in row 7. The LC's of 1's in box 9 opens up a 234 XYZ Wing (-4r7c4) which can be used to solve it.
I also found a long single-step solution that I can post if anyone wants to see it. (It's pretty darn ugly though!) |
