				| Interesting puzzle in that the only elimination (other than sweeping) is this XY, and then only for the 8 in R6C1.  (There is an X-wing on 5 in C25 but it leads nowhere.) All other values are set because only possible choices in rows, columns, boxes and squares.  I think that if this puzzle did not have the XY, then it would be rated as Easy. |  |

				| rmireland expressed my sentiments so I looked for any other way to solve this puzzle. I did come up with a nice loop which dodges around the xy wing. I hope I didn't make any mistakes. 
 r6c1=9=r6c4-9-r8c4-5-r7c5=5=r7c2-5-r6c2-3-r5c3-8-r6c1
 
 therefore r6c1<>8
 
 same elimination as with the xy wing but a lot more work
