I finally had some time to work on this puzzle and it was a lot of fun; I turned it into a BBDBer! It may be that some of the moves were not useful/required but they were what I found.

anp(67=9)b6q37-(9=7)r9c7-r7c9=r4c9: r45c78<>7
anp(79=6)r96c7-r6c2=r3c2-(6=5=2)r3c98-(2=7)r2c8; r1c7<>7
skyscraper (6) r3c29; r4c3,r6c7<6> r4c6<>7, which is not obviously helpful. However if we transport the fin then: (7)r6c5-r6c7=r4c9; r4c3<>7=8
skyscraper (2)r3c48; r4c5,r5c7<>2
aur(56)r45c67 sis r4c59=6,r5c3=6: aur(56)r45c67[(6)r4c59=(6)r5c3]-r1c3=r1c7-r3c9=r4c9; r4c67<>6

Although there are additional turbot-type eliminations present, this puzzle does have a reasonable solution.

This has to be a first that I used less steps than Ted! I hope I did not just mess up "correctly".

I had the same 2 first steps as Danny; then
X Wing on 7 in c59; r4c36<>7
XY Chain starting with r5c3, 76-62-26-65-52-29-97; r6c2<>7

What does BBDB mean? I see it on some of Danny's puzzles but not in the Ratings thread.

Bends But Doesn't Break

Looking at the potential 89 DP in boxes 25, either the 26 pseudo cell in r3 or the 67 pseudo cell in r6 kills it. Common outcome; r3c2=9.

W-Wing (79), boxes 89, SL7 in r6; r7c8, r9c46<>9.
