Five steps - I actually played #3/4 as an almost- but it adds nothing to the solution...

Interesting, I never expected that you'd use all of the steps my solver used.

I did find it to be an interesting mix of steps.

I did dodge an x-wing along the way and I think at the end there was a choice of w-wing or xy-wing. I could see no obvious (or even less than obvious!) way to do it quicker - though I am sure there is! Nice solid puzzle, Danny, thanks.
