				| W-Wing 24 with strong link 2 in column 8; r1c6<>4 solves it. Also the other one with strong link 4 in col 7; r2c5<>2. |

				| A five minute puzzle that almost solved itself. Very few unsolved cells after basics, needing a a 246 XY wing to clinch it. |

This is what I had after basics. There are at least a half-dozen techniques that can be used.

Lots of ways to skin this cat. I'm not sure I got them all, but here goes:

  1. three versions of the 246 XY-Wing

  2. two versions of the 24 W-Wing

  3. a 46 W-Wing

those are all one-steppers

What I find interesting is a series of two-steppers, all of which use a different technique in step one to set r8c57<>6. These are a type-4 UR on 16 in c78 and two versions of an X-Wing. All reveal the second step, which can be either a 145 XY-Wing or a BUG+1.

not sure I would bet the farm on all this but it was fun hunting. |
