Is this an unusual VH? Couldn't see any wings.
Possible solution? XY Chain on r2c5 r2c6 r4c6 r5c4 removes 6s from r4c5 r5c5 r2c4 and all falls |

Your possible solution looks good, but I didn't verify that it completes, but probably does.
When you were doing your basics did you catch the 34678 quint in row 4? That exposed:

You and I are opposites. In five years I've never spotted a hidden pair, rather, I have to look for the complementary triples, quads, etc. |

I looked at r5c4 if 6 then r2c5=6 if 1 then via 15 & 25 r2c5 is 6. Unlike a normal chain that forbids it seems to offer! But of course it is the same XY chain identified earlier'

You are both opposites to me - I couldn't find the hidden pair or the quint.  |
