Ted recently requested that I include AN[PTQ] and AH[PTQ] to my list of techniques. I'm guessing that he's hoping for a puzzle with a little more bite needed to solve it. Enjoy!!!

				Danny,

My inquiry about AN[PTQ] and AH[PTQ] was regarding the "Difficulty of Technique" you considered these steps so that I might use them appropriately when you post puzzles with difficulty limits. Your XY puzzles push my abilities already and I may never be ready for Extreme.

Hello Ted,

You were clear, but I did a poor job using this post as a reply to you ... and as information to others.

I consider ANHS (Almost Naked/Hidden Subset) techniques to be necessary in the most difficult of puzzles. This puzzle was suppose to be an example of a puzzle that I'd qualify for ANHS.

Members of the Eureka! forum often tackle puzzles that my solver can't solve. They use ANHS techniques, and I can understand why.

Regards, Danny |

I should have followed that hint.

There were a worthless couple of ERs and XY-Chain but that's it. I haven't tried trial and error and probably won't. |
