Take the correct wing to a quick exit.

Solution: 359 xy-wing does it. 358 is superfluous.

Ha ha, how about a s-l-o-w exit? I started working clockwise from the lower left and played three XY-Wings and an XY-Wing Chain before I got to the wing that actually did something.

I found two one steppers:
Quote:
There are two 359 wings -- one takes out a 5 the other a 3
xy-wing 395 and xy-wing 593 both win on their own.

No advanced method was needed, only pure basic ones.

Earl,
One xy-wing 358 may be superfluous, but another is a one stepper.
Quote:
xy-wing 35-8 with vertex 35 in r2c2, pincer 38 in r3c1 and pincer 58 is a pseudocell in r14c2.

this is a long shot, but are you capable of reproducing the steps you took in solving the puzzle?
and listing the basic techniques you used?
