x-wing (1), then

m-wing (5)r5c8=r7c4 (via sl (1) in col 9); r7c8<>5

(one could also use a w-wing (1)r5c9=r7c4 (via sl (5) in col 8 ); r7c9<>1)

Code:

+--------------------------+--------------------------+--------------------------+
| 3       7       2        | 9       6       5        | 8       1       4        |

That certainly beats getting nowhere with the (25) UR and the subsequent (27) UR like I did.

its the same elimination as nataraj's m-wing just without the x-wing step. and that 5 gone solves it.

(5=2)r5c8 - (2)r6c8 = (2-9)r4c5 = (9)r4c6 - (9=1)r9c6 - (1=5)r7c4; r7c8 <> 5
