I have not yet read the comments on the forum but am very interested to do so.

As a counterpoint, I will now have the second to last glass of my 1981 Allesverloren Port, which I bought in 1988 and opened about a month ago. Incredible stuff. (South African.) More Incredible, the price sticker on the bottle is now the equivalent of $1.

Sounds wonderful!
I also have some South African wines from the 70s that I purchased in the early 90s when one of my daughters lived in the area; they are also great. I have not checked the price recently, but at the time I purchased them they were about $3-$4.
