Hi all,

Anybody tells me how to solve this sudoku (the way)?!

Rule:
Each number can only appear once in a row, a column or a color.

Hi, I only found a 7 on the upper right corner. You get it when you understand that the shape with the 8 inside must have the 7 on the 2nd line from the right. It is a really difficult one... I guess I will give up, it is just too difficult.
Regards,
Anja

This is really just a "squiggly"; consider each colour as a different area. This is a quote from a previous post from someone:
"A technique described by R.E.S. on sudoku.org.uk is really useful for the "twisted" puzzles. Called "LOL" by some, it took me a while to get my head into seeing it through, but now it's been really useful. R.E.S.'s post is at http://www.sudoku.org.uk/discus/messages/1/524.html?1140137480 but a more in-depth discussion is found at: http://www.bumblebeagle.org/dusumoh/index.html "

That bumblebeagle.org site has good tutorials on this kind of skinny areas puzzle. The rules are something like: if two areas intersect, the parts outside the intersection; If you select a number of rows and intersect them with an equal number of areas, the numbers outside the intersection on the rows equal the numbers outside the intersection on the areas. You've better read the tutorials for the exact quote of the 3 L.O.L laws.

One way I reword one of the laws is: what pokes out pokes in, and vice-versa.

Hope this helps.
