I have got this far with todays puzzle, but can't work out the hint

Hint is 5 in r8c5

I have seen some of the links explaining how to solve, don't know if this falls into the same category but couldn't understand swordfish etc.

r2c5 only has possibilities of {2,8}. r6c5 also only has possibilities of {2,8}. So you can eliminate 2 and 8 from other cells in column 5.

So even though r8c5 CAN be {2,5}, you can eliminate the 2 and get a 5 in that cell.
