Did anyone else get a bit stuck with trying to get a number "8" into the very centre row?

I solved it -- no problem w/ 8 -- try it in the top center quadrant, bottom center cell. (just started doing puzzles - so I'm not sure my terms are correct)

2/9/1 7/8/3 5/4/6

1/2/6 4/9/7 3/5/8
7/4/5 3/6/8 2/1/9
8/3/9 1/2/5 7/6/4

9/8/2 5/1/6 4/7/3

I just noticed that I copied the puzzle incorrectly -- I left out the code for the center right hand quadrant entirely -- guess i accidently created a new puzzle . Smile

You should look at the other thread concerning this puzzle. I got stuck at the same point as the originators of that thread and once you use the logic set out there, it is a relatively straightforward one to complete - the 8s are no more puzzling than the other numbers!!!
