				| I solved it -- no problem w/ 8 -- try it in the top center quadrant, bottom center cell. (just started doing puzzles - so I'm not sure my terms are correct) |

I just solved it. It is not that hard

Here is my solution:

4/7/8 6/5/9 1/3/2

5/6/3 2/4/1 9/8/7

2/9/1 7/8/3 5/4/6

1/2/6 4/9/7 3/5/8

7/4/5 3/6/8 2/1/9

8/3/9 1/2/5 7/6/4

9/8/2 5/1/6 4/7/3

3/5/4 8/7/2 6/9/1

6/1/7 9/3/4 8/2/5

here's my solution -- it works too:

8/7/4 6/5/9 1/3/2

5/6/3 1/4/2 7/8/9

2/9/1 7/8/3 5/4/6

6/2/5 4/1/7 3/9/8

7/4/8 3/9/6 2/5/1

1/3/9 8/2/5 6/7/4

9/8/2 5/3/1 4/6/7

4/5/6 2/7/8 9/1/3

3/1/7 9/6/4 8/2/5 |

I just noticed that I copied the puzzle incorrectly -- I left out the code for the center right hand quadrant entirely -- guess i accidently created a new puzzle . |

				| You should look at the other thread concerning this puzzle. I got stuck at the same point as the originators of that thread and once you use the logic set out there, it is a relatively straightforward one to complete - the 8s are no more puzzling than the other numbers!!! |
