				| -3 r3c8 as by using the <3>'s in r4 leads to no <3> in c2 -1 r8c9 as by using <19> pair in c2 leads to no <1> in box 6
 -9 r4c8 as then <19> in r3c8 and r6c7 leads to no <1> in box 9

 so r4c8 is <3> to solve

 I suspect there is a much simpler way than this!

 I used the chain: 1r6c2=(1*-9)r6c7=(9*-3)r4c8=r5c9-r5c2=r3c2-(39*=1)r3c8-(19*=3)r9c8-(1*3=9)r9c7-(39=1|5)r9c13 => r8c2 <> 1; stte.

 Thanks Mogulmeister! As you probably already know it's another one of my typical pencil and paper solutions!

				| It is good to see all the ways that folks here work out some of these fairly gnarly puzzles. Your p+p chains are always entertaining!
 This all reminds me of some of my more colourful golf shots when I went round the course with my father:

 "Ah. I see you took the pretty route!"

				| One interesting observation I made while looking at your chain is on the <13> at d (r5c9).
 If it's <1> then the puzzle solves as you've laid out - go via d then b then a and r8c2 < > 1

 If instead it is <3> then r5c2 = 5 and after some helpful basics you feed into your gcd forming a <139> xy wing

 and r1c9 < > 1 and again the puzzle solves.
