No, the solutions of the XWing{2r17c4, 2r179c9} only exclude 2r7c7.

No, the solutions of the XWing{2r17c4, 2r179c9} only exclude 2r7c7.

So it's a sort of extended X wing rather than the simple 2 rows or two columns

I sort of agree. All I look for these days are (grouped) strong links and then figure out if they make kites or skyscrapers or whatever.

I can't remember the last time I ever said: Aha! A swordfish.
