Just today something new developed. When printing a puzzle I'd get the puzzle then a 2nd sheet of paper that was blank with a blue line about 1/8" from the top margin. I thought for sure I had a printer problem.
Then some further checking revealed that after clicking Print it actually showed two pages, one with the puzzle and the other with the site name at the top and the date and time on the bottom. The funny thing is is that when the 2nd sheet prints it doesn't even even show that site name and date/time, just the aforementioned blank with the blue line.
I realize that I can print page 2 only, but that's a PITA. Is this something that Sam needs to fix? |

check the settings in your web-browseryou should be able to set the browser to
print with no header and footer or it could be the paper-size, margins, etc |

Pat,
I changed the settings to blank out all header and footer information but that just got rid of the text on page 2. I thought header/footer stuff just added to the existing page, not create another page. Changing margins did nothing either. I can't get rid of that 2nd page.
The thing is that I had made no changes and this started out of the blue Sunday. |

Yes, Daily Sudoku. If I just print I get a puzzle and a second page, so I have to tell it to just print page 2. It looks like one page but on the print preview it shows 1 of 2. |

Marty,
When you hit the print button and get get the PDF, save it as a file. Then open that file with Acrobat Reader, the real one from Adobe. How does that print?
I suspect you may have a PDF browser plug-in that is not working right.
Best wishes,

Keith,
Adobe Acrobat appears on my Firefox list of plug-ins.
Printing isn't a big problem, as all I need to do is tell it to print just page 2. The odd thing is that a few months ago it changed for reasons not apparent to me. |
