Maybe easier than usual, but I used two steps.

I thought from your comment that it would be a one-stepper.

Are these puzzles in the print or digital edition? Our fish wrapper gets their puzzles on the cheap and they never require an advanced move.

No, my comment was based on the need for XY-wings, not skyscrapers or XY chains. I have not yet dissected the puzzle to look for single-step moves.

They are in the Detroit Free Press print edition. The same puzzles are in the LA Times. I seem to recall they may also be in a St. Louis paper.

I have never been able to find them online, other than in images of the newspaper.

Try the archives at http://www.sudoku.org.uk/daily.asp

They do not appear until Saturday for Fridays puzzle.
