An s-wing would have a bivalued cell at its center. This is an l-wing with transport (I think).

I hacked my way through to the finish using an X-Wing, M-Wing and three XY-Wings, with three of the moves involving pincer transports.

Cool! A grouped M-wing.

7 in A forces 7 in B. Not 2 in B forces 2 in one of C. Eliminating 2 in B6C9.

Nice move, though it does not solve the puzzle.

I find that it matches what Norm calls an Inverted w wing.
Code:
iW-Wing:  (Y)s = (Y-X)a = (X)b - (X)c = (X-Y)d = (Y)t

That's an ill-advised name. All other wings have three strong links ... except for the x-wing, of course.

Though, wings can often be extended by another couple of strong links while keeping basically the same logic.

In Norm's inverse/inverted wing patterns, he exchanges weak inferences and strong inferences, and then adds a strong inference to the front and end to complete the pattern. (at least, that's been my observation.)

Code:
 W-Wing:         (X=Y)a - (Y)b = (Y)c - (Y=X)d
iW-Wing:  (X)s = (X-Y)a = (Y)b - (Y)c = (Y-X)d = (X)t
