W-Wing 69 with strong link 6 in col 9 setting r9c3<>9 solves it.

I tried to use just the standard VH moves and it took me an X-Wing on 6 and XY-Wing on 698.

I found it curious that the W-Wing in 69 could either use the 6s in col 2 or col 9! though of course the conclusion is the same

After basics:
Code:
+----------------+----------------+----------------+
| 48   9    2    | 7    5    48   | 1    6    3    |
| 3    5    1    | 9    6    2    | 7    8    4    |
| 468  7    68   | 18   3    148  | 59   2    59   |
+----------------+----------------+----------------+
| 1    4    69   | 3    2    7    | 8    59   56   |
| 5    2    3    | 6    8    9    | 4    7    1    |
| 689  68   7    | 4    1    5    | 36   39   2    |
+----------------+----------------+----------------+
| 689  3    5689 | 158  7    18   | 2    4    69   |
| 7    1    4    | 2    9    6    | 35   35   8    |
| 2    68   5689 | 58   4    3    | 69   1    7    |
+----------------+----------------+----------------+
This grid has a UR 48 and patterns on 6: An X-wing and its Swordfish complement, and an XYZ-wing -689.

After the X-wing, there is a 6-89 XY-wing, bringing us to here:
Code:
+-------------+-------------+-------------+
| 4   9   2   | 7   5   8   | 1   6   3   |
| 3   5   1   | 9   6   2   | 7   8   4   |
| 6   7   8   | 1   3   4   | 59  2   59  |
+-------------+-------------+-------------+
| 1   4   69  | 3   2   7   | 8   59  56  |
| 5   2   3   | 6   8   9   | 4   7   1   |
| 89  68  7   | 4   1   5   | 36  39  2   |
+-------------+-------------+-------------+
| 89  3   569 | 58  7   1   | 2   4   69  |
| 7   1   4   | 2   9   6   | 35  35  8   |
| 2   68  59  | 58  4   3   | 69  1   7   |
+-------------+-------------+-------------+
Marty, I do not think your two moves solve it. There is a BUG+1, or the wings: XY-wing -589, or -689, or XYZ 56-9.

It is because the 69 is strongly linked in 6 on either end in the BOXES and the Columns. It is normal.

Yep, I don't know what I did wrong but I see it needs another move.
