In every newspaper there are sudokos. Mostly rather easy ones. Why not on this excellent webpage just publish VERY HARD puzzles?
I assume most of the visitors like myself are real enthusiast

There are many here who undoubtedly would like to see only the Very Hards. I don't know the actual reason that there are also Easy, Medium and Hard. However, I suspect that the site operator has access to click counts which tell him that numerous people are playing those levels of puzzles.

In the meantime, why not take a look at the sub-forum titled "Puzzles by daj"? Danny offers puzzles whose degrees of difficulty are VH+ and above. I and many others enjoy playing them.

I also would like to see only very hards. The other problem is that lately the very hards are easier and easier. Not just me, occasionally there is one that stumps us for a while. It is much more enjoyable to do these challenging puzzles. I wonder how the very hards are created, what parameters are entered into the creation program and have they changed lately. I also wonder about numbers of people downloading the various levels of puzzles. Could we hear from an administrator on this topic?

I don't know how they're created or what parameters are used. However, I feel confident that the puzzle construction has not changed lately. The site owner has been very busy and unable to spend the time needed to work on the puzzle program.

As I mentioned in my previous post, try the "Puzzles by daj" sub-forum. Many of us find them very enjoyable.

Thanks Marty. Hate to keep complaining but we only do squiggly sudokus, and very hard squigglies are very hard to find.
