The puzzle in our local paper, according to this site, was not workable. After entering it in the draw and play section it said "too hard". However; it was workable afterall. Got me puzzled.

The too hard comment means that the puzzle can't be solved by the techniques available through the online player/solver. It does not mean that the puzzle can't be solved. Many of the puzzles that I post are Graded too hard by the online player/solver.

Thanks "daj95376"

That thought did enter my mind but as I recall this is the first time I have seen the "too hard" response to a puzzle I have entered. Do you know if this is covered anywhere on the site?

Paul

You can check the FAQs, but I don't think your question is answered.
