Code:

This one proved to be benign using Mandatory Pairs.
There was no need to construct the 'Missing' profiles
(although 'counting' was, of course, required).
The number of Pairs identified was gratifying large.

There were some occasions where two cells in a
region held pairs a and ab (the partner for b being
elsewher in the region) and then became eligible
for a further pair c - giving ac and abc.

This situation is very welcome. From it emerges a
Mutual Reception pair  (ac) plus (b) is excluded and
its partner is resolved.

There were also some in-region chains so that resolving
one value set off a cascade of other resolutions so that
from having only three, four or five cells resolved in the
region, very suddenly all nine were resolved.

Sometimes, it can seem unrewarding just identifying
the pairs but when the resolutions cascade in that way
one can see that one's earlier faith was justified. This
seems somehow to have a differnt quality from the
searching for patterns in candidate profiles.

This is an excellent starter for anyone wishing to get to
grips with Mandatory pairs - following on the worked
example of November 19th. I would welcome feedback
on what works and what does not. I believe that the idea
is sound - but some aspects of the practice could do with
a little updating from the notes that I collated back in
October and submitted to this site.

Hi, Alan!

The "BB Code" for urls won't work right when it's embedded inside the "code" tags. This is just in the nature of cleanup ... dcb
