Same Rules!

This puzzle may not qualify as fun. Unlike the previous puzzles, the XY-Wings are numerous and some occur early.

Code:

Well, we can just resort to some larger ALS:

[1] (1=5)r2c8 - (5)r8c8=(5)r8c9 - ALS[(5)r56c9=(1)r456c9]; r1c9|r4c8<>1

[2] (3=6)r7c7 - (6=5)r2c7 - ALS[(5)r12c8=(3)r4c8]; r6c7|r8c8<>3

After quite a bit of simplification...
[3] X-Wing on 3
[4] BUG+1

Asellus,

very surprised you didn't see your own move

Code:
.------------------------.------------------------.------------------------.
| 3568    135689  1368   | 7       1358    13689  | 2       145     1456   |
| 7       4       1368   | 12368   12358   1368   |*56      15      9      |
| 56      1569    2      | 146     15      1469   | 8       7       3      |
:------------------------+------------------------+------------------------:
| 9       1368    13468  | 5       1238    1348   | 7       134     124    |
| 235     7       134    | 1234    6       134    | 9       8      *1245   |
| 2358    1358    1348   | 12348   9       7      |*35      6      *1245   |
:------------------------+------------------------+------------------------:
| 1       36      7      | 9       4       5      |3-6      2       8      |
| 4       368     9      | 368     7       2      | 1       35     *56     |
| 368     2       5      | 1368    138     1368   | 4       9       7      |
'------------------------'------------------------'------------------------'

the w-wing with grouped strong link

leads to x-wing on 3, leads to BUG 8 in r6c2

Quite simple, actually.

After basics:
Code:
+----------------------+----------------------+----------------------+
| 3568   135689 1368   | 7      1358   13689  | 2      145    1456   |
| 7      4      1368   | 12368  12358  1368   | 56     15     9      |
| 56     1569   2      | 146    15     1469   | 8      7      3      |
+----------------------+----------------------+----------------------+
| 9      1368   13468  | 5      1238   1348   | 7      134    124    |
| 235    7      134    | 1234   6      134    | 9      8      124-5  |
| 2358   1358   1348   | 12348  9      7      | 35a    6      124-5  |
+----------------------+----------------------+----------------------+
| 1      36     7      | 9      4      5      | 36b    2      8      |
| 4      368    9      | 368    7      2      | 1      35c    56d    |
| 368    2      5      | 1368   138    1368   | 4      9      7      |
+----------------------+----------------------+----------------------+

An M-wing abcd takes out <5> in R56C9. After a lot of simplification, a classic remote pair on <38> solves it.

Norm: A different grouped strong link ... and the second elimination.

Code:
 after basics
 +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+
 |  3568   13589  138    |  7      1358   13689  |  2     #145    145-6  |
 |  7      4      1368   |  12368  12358  1368   | *56    #15     9      |
 |  56     1569   2      |  146    15     1469   |  8      7      3      |
 |-----------------------+-----------------------+-----------------------|
 |  9      16     13468  |  5      1238   1348   |  7      134    124    |
 |  235    7      134    |  1234   6      134    |  9      8      1245   |
 |  2358   1358   1348   |  12348  9      7      |  35     6      1245   |
 |-----------------------+-----------------------+-----------------------|
 |  1      36     7      |  9      4      5      |  3-6    2      8      |
 |  4      368    9      |  368    7      2      |  1     #35    *56     |
 |  368    2      5      |  1368   138    1368   |  4      9      7      |
 +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+
 # 109 eliminations remain

Code:
[r2c7]<>6 [r2c7]=5 [r12c8]<>5 [r8c8]=5 [r8c9]<>5 [r8c9]=6  =>  [r1c9],[r7c7]<>6

ER (or) finned X-Wing r68\c24  =>  [r4c2]<>8

Nice to meet you as well, Norm. I'll be looking forward to your getting even. Since I have dyslexia of the fingers (for typing) and swiss cheese for memory recall, you should have lots of opportunities. I'll be waiting with a Very Happy

I claim no ownership. I avoided focusing on bivalues because doing so kept slipping into XY-Wings in disguise. (I rejected Keith's M-Wing for that reason since I saw it as just the 356 XY-Wing wearing a 35 bivalue moustache.) There's no way to see your W-Wing as an XY(Z)-Wing, so congrats!!
