I think the heat here has frazzled my brain. I'm stuck on yesterdays puzzle. I asked the web site "solver" for help after entering known numbers plus my pencil marks. HELP said my next move was a 1 in C7R2 where I had pencilled 158, in the same block I had 137 inC8R3 and elsewhere had 1578 inC4R2 complimented by 178 in C5R3, below that was 1578 in C4R9.
These pencil marks do NOT seem logically to lead to 158 turning into 1 inC7R2.
Any one got any ideas please?

Coloring 8 (R4 and C2) eliminates an 8 from R3C9 and solves the puzzle.

This solver is the best one! I would be interested in looking at the "solver" that gave you the hint!
