Hi Susie,

Here some hint:

9 not in r5c3, it is in r4c1 or r4c3 (Row on 3x3 Block interaction)
9 not in r6c1, it is in r4c1 or r4c3 (Row on 3x3 Block interaction)
5 not in r5c5, it is in r6c5 or r6c6 (Row on 3x3 Block interaction)
8 not in r5c8, it is in r5c7 or r6c7 (Column on 3x3 Block interaction)
8 not in r6c8, it is in r5c7 or r6c7 (Column on 3x3 Block interaction)
3 not in r4c1, Nacked Pair 3 8 in r4c2 and r4c6 (same Row)
8 not in r4c1, Nacked Pair 3 8 in r4c2 and r4c6 (same Row)
1 not in r6c1, Hidden Pair 3 8 in r6c1 and r7c1 (in Column)
1 not in r7c1, Hidden Pair 3 8 in r6c1 and r7c1 (in Column)
1 in r6c4 - Unique Horizontal

and from here on, you can swim alone to the end ...

Hello,

my question is, how can i get to the 1 in row 6 column 4, 4 is also possible, but why is 1 correct? do i have to try it out?

Thepoint is, the "1" can't fit anywhere else in row 6.

It can't fit in r6c1 because of the {3, 8} pair in r6c1/r7c1.
It can't fit in r6c5 because of the "1" at r8c5.
It can't fit in r6c6 because of the "1" at r2c6.
It can't fit in r6c7 or r6c8 because of the "1" at r5c9.

The only place left for the "1" is at r6c4. dcb

from the same position, I was able to solve the puzzle by finding that No. 5 can only fit in r7c3 or r8c3 as there is naked pair of 3,8 in r7c1 and r8c2.
Therefore, No.5 is only possible in r5c2 - unique horizontal. After that the puzzle falls like nine pins.
