Pat,

I think this one qualifies as a Hard, but beware! By this site's standards, a Hard involves a hidden set. A Very Hard involves an X-, XY, or XYZ- wing.

    thanks

      i'm trying to say,
this puzzle is too easy for the experts

also trying to avoid a spoiler,
        for those like myself
        who do enjoy this level

so an X-wing is tougher than a "hidden" trio ?
tougher even than a "hidden" quartet ?

I guess I don't know the grading either Confused

This was written after struggling with some puzzles requiring multiple AIC (alternate inference chains)

VH to me requires advanced methods but not chains or almost things some with fins.

to others they limit VH to X-, XY, or XYZ- wings ( I guess that includes the various fish models, kites and skyscrapers but does not include the other wings (m-wing w-wing etc.)

Where the bugs and remote pairs and patterns fit is a mystery.

Hard puzzles are limited to the basics (not advanced) including quads.
Medium no trips or quads
Easy has no sets

To me quads, trips and naked singles are hard. Harder than many advanced moves

Sorry if I mislead anyone.

Yes -- Interesting in that you need a triple to even get started. Cool

I didn't decide on the scale, but yes. "Very Hard" for the puzzles on this site means it requires a basic wing, no more.
